Kathy Smith
President
Tony and Kathy Smith started Spectra Builders in 1993. Kathy handles the roles of President, Secretary, and Treasurer. Kathy is the majority stockholder and is responsible for the financial affairs of the company, business development, day to day operations, and human resources.
Through her leadership, Kathy has provided the company with steady growth and expansion in the markets served. Kathy has instituted many cutting edge programs within the organization to better enable the company to provide superior services to the client.
Kathy has also been active in community affairs, such as serving as the Zebulon Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors President, and is currently serving on the First Citizens Bank Eastern Wake Board of Directors. She is also actively involved at Hephzibah Baptist Church and enjoys participating in Missions Trips and teaching the youth.
Tony Smith
Vice President
Tony Smith has been building in the Triangle since 1983 and is the Vice President of Spectra Builders since its inception in 1993. He has instituted many innovations in cost modeling and project management in order to more efficiently serve Spectra clients.
Also, Tony established the quality control processes used by Spectra Builders that have won rave reviews from clients.
Spectra Builders is fully insured, bonded, and holds an Unlimited General Contractor's License in the states of North Carolina and South Carolina.
Tony enjoys anything having to do with the water, boating, fishing, etc. He is also active at Hephzibah Baptist Church and enjoys missions work.
